The Barn

The Fountain of Terre Negre - as it was once known - is a typical Quercy stone farmhouse which lies on a hillside with fantastic views over rolling countryside. Some of the earliest parts of the house were built in 1650. This part of France is mainly used for fruit farming and just 40km to the west lies Agen, an area well known for their prunes. To the east is the beautiful city of Cahors, a place well known for its excellent wines.

The Barn

has a double bedroom, twin bedroom, lounge/diner with a well equipped American style kitchen including a cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. There is a tiled shower room with WC.

Outside there is a shaded patio area with garden furniture and a barbecue. Four acres of unspoilt garden surround Terre Negre combining a mixture of pasture and woodland.

The 12m x 6m swimming pool is situated in a secluded part of the garden surrounded by plants, sunbeds and garden furniture.
