Fountain Cottage

The Fountain of Tere Negre - as it was once known - is a typical Quercy stone farmhouse which lies on a hillside with fantastic views over rolling countryside. Some of the earliest parts of the house were built in 1650. This part of France is mainly used for fruit farming and just 40km to the west lies Agen, an area well known for their prunes. To the east is the beautiful city of Cahors, a place well known for its excellent wines.

Fountain Cottage consists of a lounge / dining room with a charming inglenook fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped with a cooker, dishwasher, microwave and a fridge / freezer. The lounge / dining room has two sofas and a wooden country-style dining set.

There are two bedrooms, the first has a double bed, a small private terrace leads from this room.The second room has three single beds. There is a tiled shower room with a WC. The front door of Fountain Cottage opens on to a large south facing terrace covered with a creeper and provides panoramic views over unspoilt countryside. It is fully equipped with garden furniture and barbecue. The 12m x 6m shared swimming pool is situated in a secluded part of the garden surrounded by plants , sunbeds and garden furniture.
