Musique
Do you play the recorder? We are a descant (soprano) and treble (alto) duet looking for other players who would like to play a varied repertoire of recorder ensemble music. We play for our own amusement but also expect to work a bit.

Aubeterre: come and sing Handel's Messiah in English with Chant'Aubeterre; all voices welcome. Rehearsals begin in earnest in January for a concert in early 2009. The choir meets on Tuesday evenings at 20h15 in the sdf (near the campsite) and is directed by Karen Broughton, who also directs the choirs at Chalais and Baignes. We will also be working on another repertoire.

Ribérac: the music society is looking for musicians of all grades and ages (7-77); it meets on Thursday evening at 20h30 in the Ribérac School of Music, 20 rue du 26 mars, and welcomes newcomers in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
