BRIEF DETAILS OF THIS B&B

Le Tertre is a newly-renovated chateau style French farmhouse set in the manoir country of Normandy between the ancient forests of Bellême and Perseigne.

This beautiful setting and accommodation provides an ideal base for the country rambles and drives, lovely views, forest wildlife and visits to the many unspoilt villages nearby.

As well as being a magical venue for seminars/workshops (sleeps 12 + tutor) Le Tertre offers luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation.

Languages spoken: English and French.

Open all year except February.

We are easy to find and just a short 2 hour drive from Paris, Caen, Ouistreham or Le Havre.

The extensive grounds are a delight and guests are welcome to explore, admire the flora and fauna, or simply take a walk in fresh country air. It's ideal for photographers and artists with plenty of subject matter to choose from including nearby woods, pond and rolling French landscape.

There are many activities in the neighbourhood. Seminars and workshops that have taken place at Le Tertre include:

Hatha Yoga; Neuro-Linguistic Programming: 2-week intensive every year for 5 years with Arielle Essex from London; General Semantics (in French): twice yearly with Jean Puijallon from Paris; Meditation; and Art.

For seminars, retreats, workshops and courses the accommodation at Le Tertre is fabulous and stylish, at reasonable rates, and consists of:

Kitchen, Dining Room, Hall, Sitting room, 6 double bedrooms plus separate room for course tutor, 4 bathrooms ( 2 ensuite ), Yoga room, Meditation room, spa, Luxurious 2 bed African safari-tent set up in grounds commanding a spectacular view.

Bed and breakfast (chambre d'hote) accommodation:

Green room - twin beds, dressing and bathroom en suite, with antique furniture; yellow room - private bath or shower not en suite; very large south-facing double - with shower en suite and own staircase.
