Enjoy a 'get away from it all' stay in our lovely restored Périgourdin farmhouse. Situated on a country road, in the heart of the Périgord Vert countryside. Located within a minutes walk of the village of St Priest Les Fougères which has a bakery, bar/tabac, garage and post office. The atmosphere is of a thriving, friendly rural community.

St Priest Les Fougères is conveniently located on the D79, 2.5 kilometres from the main Route National 21 at La Coquille between Limoges and Périgueux. La Coquille is a small town with all the amenities including a Pizzeria and good restaurant at Les Voyageurs Hotel, which is open to non-residents. There is also a main line railway station, SNCF.

The low-cost airline, buzz, now operates a daily service from London Stansted to Limoges, which is just 40 minutes away, making the possibility of short-break stays a very viable proposition. This is an ideal location from which to go sight-seeing, wine tasting and house hunting. The famous Lascaux caves at Montignac are just 45 minuteís away as is Brantome, the Venice of the Dordogne. The lovely medieval town of Périgueux an hour's drive. There are a wealth of chateaux, caves and authentic market towns to visit.

Or for those wishing to just rest and relax we offer the use of our own 2 acre private lake which is lovely for swimming in during the warmer months with fresh running water. For keen fishermen it is well stocked with carp, perch, roach and rudd. Swim or fish from the piers or the boat.

We offer three tastefully furnished and decorated double bedrooms (two with double bed, one with two single beds) and each room has its own private bathroom. On warm days and hot summer evenings enjoy relaxing and dining
on our lovely outside terrace.

We are open from mid May to mid October and are pleased to offer the option of an evening meal.
